Book Blogger Hop #33 – If You Were to Write Your Own Autobiography, What Would the Title Be?

Book Blogger Hop.PNG

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme with a prompt featuring a book related question. The hop begins on a Friday and ends on a Thursday and should hopefully give people the opportunity to learn something new about the blogger.

The Book Blogger Hop can be found on Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer and obviously my answers can be found here!

autobiography titleThis is a short and sweet blog post for today my friends but it wasn’t a quick one on account of my zero skill in doing anything visually creative.

Here is my autobiography cover mock up for you. In all it’s glorious mess.

I've Totally Got This & Other Lies.png

I have tried to keep the theme of the ‘book cover’ to match my book blog and as my book blog is an extension of my tastes it makes sense the book cover would be as well.

Pink is my favourite colour (if you hadn’t already noticed) and I’m a sucker for anything gold and shiny on a book cover so that’s got to go on there too.

The tea stain is sadly self explanatory and the ink splodges are all over my blog because they’re all over everything in the Real World (fingers and notepads included) so they need to be over this as well.

As to the title – well I will let you guess the content of the autobiography and the type of person this makes me! πŸ˜›

Blog Hop

I’m back in semi-force (sort of) and have a few blog posts to share with you this week as I’ve missed sharing them!

Sophie @ Beware of the Reader asks us to consider the question of ‘Are You Too Old For YA?’

Sam @ Fictionally Sam is updating us on her Bookending Summer 2019: Tidython Goals Check In. There’s always time to join!

Krysti @ YA and Wine gives us some handy advice on How to Request ARCs From Publishers

Pauliina @ The Bookaholic Dreamer has done some analysis on her Reading Stats: Am I a Seasonal Reader?

Breaker

As mentioned today has been short and sweet – well it isΒ an autobiographical based post after all – only kidding πŸ˜‰

Let me know your thoughts on my autobiography and what you’d expect to find between the pages and feel free to comment below on whatΒ youΒ would call yours. I’ll try and guess what I’d expect to find and see how far off the mark I am!

Until next week when I answer the question of whether I always carry a book with me!

  1. I laughed at the tea stain and the title. I’d read it.

If there isn’t some traditional dry British humor in the book, i’d feel cheated.

My autobigraphy would probably be called: “I Didn’t Want To Write About Myself: Why Did You Even Buy This?”

  2. Hahaha I would totally read your autobiography xD I love the design too, it’s absolutely opposite of what I imagine you are. πŸ˜‚ My would have a matte black cover, and tiny title in the middle saying “Why have fun in life when you can have anxiety?” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    1. Are you saying I’m not pink and glittery? ;P Or that you don’t think I’m a category A mess? I manage to appear like I’m not a category A mess but that is also total lies!

Have then cover be matte black but make sure that writing is the shiniest gold you can find!

  3. Girl, that’s a fabulous cover! I would not even be able to fathom how to even get that result in the first place, I’m so bad at visual design myself. Love the tea stains and ink splotches, and lmao, “and other lies” sums it up perfectly! πŸ˜‰

Never given a thought to what I’d call my autobiography btw…I mean, my life’s so generic and boring that I’d never even think to write one in first place haha!
