The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme with a prompt featuring a book related question. The hop begins on a Friday and ends on a Thursday and should hopefully give people the opportunity to learn something new about the blogger.
The Book Blogger Hop can be found on Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer and obviously my answers can be found here!
It’s going to be this lil’ guy…
Not sure who he is? Let me give you another clue…
But why on earth would I want to be Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?!
For this reason…
Charlie’s a lovely child who has a family who love and adore him. He wins a chance to have a day in the chocolate factory (which he gets and he doesn’t get harmed in any way) and on account of being such a lovely child who doesn’t get harmed in any way he ends up winning the chocolate factory itself.
It’s very important that I’m a character who doesn’t get harmed in any way.
It’s also very important that I win a chocolate factory.
Guys, this week I have sucked.
Not only am I posting this late (the blog hop usually makes an appearance on Saturday’s) but I haven’t read or responded to any comments coming in (I will, I promise) and I haven’t done any blog hopping this past week at all.
Sadly, I can’t promise that there will be any blog hopping this week either.
There’s been a ton of ‘not-greatness’ (and a few good things that have been time consuming) these past couple of weeks which has accumulated to the point where I am not able to keep up with anything.
I have pre-written blog posts lined up for this week but in all honesty I’m so behind on life and blogging that I’ve taken a sort of ‘temporary semi-hiatus.’ This means that I’m still trying to post but that I need to schedule some time to actually respond to comments and catch up on blog hopping.
I will catch up on comments (though there is a delay) but may be lax on the blog hopping front until I can get my shizzle together.
Was your first thought like, ‘nope, nada. I ‘ain’t ever going to want to be Charlie’ or do you understand how perfectly appropriate my reasoning is?
If my rationale has failed to convince you, who would you be and why?
I shall hopefully be back to my regular posting schedule of Saturday when this weekend I answer the question of whether I re-read book(s) in a series before reading the newly released one! For eagle eyed viewers I have already answered this in a comment 😉
