The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme with a prompt featuring a book related question. The hop begins on a Friday and ends on a Thursday and should hopefully give people the opportunity to learn something new about the blogger.
The Book Blogger Hop can be found on Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer and obviously my answers can be found here!
Wait, you want more of an answer?
I feel this is a bit of a cheat as I have technically answered a variant of this question for Top 5 Wednesday – Most Anticipated 2019 Releases.
But because I don’t want to leave this unanswered I will choose three more. They may not be my most anticipated, but I’m still excited for them.
The Wicked King is part two of The Folk of the Air trilogy and we get to see how some delicious power struggles are playing out in faerie court (I won’t spoil for those who haven’t read The Cruel Prince and want to). Released 8th January.
The Flower Girls is about Laurel and Primrose, two sisters who murder a child. One is convicted and the other given a new identity. This story picks up nineteen years later when another child has gone missing. I feel this is going to be a tense read. Released 24th January.
Because I clearly have a thing for books that begin with ‘The’ in the title my third choice was The Binding. This appears to be a book about books and magical books at that. The Goodreads description sounds delightfully evasive and confusing and I actually do mean that as a compliment. Released 10th January.
One of my goals for 2019 was to be a more interactive blogger, not just in replying to comments and commenting more on other people’s blog posts but to highlight other people’s content on my blog.
There are some awesome bloggers out there that already do this and honestly this is just such a wonderful feature that I’m surprised I’m only doing it now.
Briana @ Pages Unbound has posted some incredibly useful Book Blogging Resources for Reaching Your Goals
Daniela @ Bookiverse has given some advice and outlined her own goals on Bookish Strategic Planning
Charleigh @ Charleigh Writes has focused on what to do if you reach The Dreaded Reading Slump
What do you think of my three additional choices? Have you heard of them? Are you also looking forward to reading them? Do you, like Rhett Butler, ‘not give a damn?’
