Thank you so much to the lovely Alicia aka Miss Honeybug for nominating me… now if that isn’t the most adorable friggin’ name for a blog then I don’t know what is! Also, you need to check out her art work because it’s also pretty wonderful!

thank you

Q1

huskies.jpg

I like children but I am far more of an animal person. That’s all there is to it! I adore pets!

Q2

I love these questions, these are the questions that I ask people!

I would give this to my husband. He’d probably get a lot more out of 100 years than I would. He’d actually do stuff with his life while I’d probably just eat Pringles and binge watch Netflix.

Q3

I got married on the 8th of the 8th 2018 because that was me and my husband’s 8th year together. We had 8 guests.

We really wanted to get married at 8am but the registrars weren’t open at that time. Because the number 8 is lucky in Chinese culture we had a Chinese takeaway for dinner that night!

Q1

Wine and a whine usually works! Reading is definitely a de-stresser as is going for a walk. In winter I like to have a nice long bath with a Lush bath bomb as it’s my life’s mission to try as many Lush bath bomb’s as possible. It’s not a very exciting mission…

Q1

I’ve never entered a contest so the short answer is no… maybe things would be different if I actually entered…

Q1

I’m going to refer you to this post here which should tell you all you need to know!

Q1

Sorry to be one of ‘those’ people but honestly? Both. I am just really happy if someone gets me a gift as I really think it’s the thought that counts. Obviously if someone has made a gift than they have put the time and effort into it and I would be uber grateful but then we all lead busy lives and a gift card is just as fun!

Q1

It was an ARC called ‘The Thorn Queen’ by Elise Holland which sadly wasn’t my most favourite of books. I actually reviewed it very recently as in… yesterday. My review can be found here for the interested.

Q1

I’d be curious to see what other Brits would say but I’m going to go with this…

sunday roast

A beef sunday roast. I would take you to my favourite pub which has a working watermill and we would have a glass of wine or a beer and the aforementioned roast slathered in gravy (no sprouts for me thanks) and then we’d follow it up with either a sticky toffee pud or warm chocolate brownie with local ice cream.

I’m so friggin’ hungry guys.

Q1

I have no competitive streak in me apart from this one thing…

cluedo.png

I have several versions including a few themed ones and over the years I have developed tactics and a mean streak. If you play against me on Cluedo I will try my very hardest to destroy you.

No one plays with me anymore.

Q1

  1. My husband has been out of the country for almost ten days for work (it’s common and we’re used to it) and on Saturday I received a lovely bunch of flowers from him with a card that said ‘just because.’
  2. I was clearing out my suitcase and I found a whole bag of unopened Minstrels that I forgot was in there – amazeballs.
  3. I took a random nap on the bed that was so random I wasn’t in my usual position (head at the foot of the bed, that kind of thing) and when I woke up I found that my cat had joined me and snuggled herself into my side.

I like that last question very much!

questions

Here are my 11!

  1. If you opened up a bookshop – what would it be called?
  2. You’re writing a novel – what are your two main characters names and what kind of novel is it?
  3. You wake up from a night of heavy drinking to find that you have a tattoo of a fictional character’s name tattooed on your bum. Whose name is it?
  4. You’re a wizard Harry book blogger. What familiar do you choose?
  5. You’re hosting dinner, which four guests (friends, family, famous or fictional) do you invite?
  6. What are you cooking them? Is this your signature dish?
  7. There’s an orchard at the end of the road, one night you hear sobbing from it. Do you go and investigate? If you investigate, who’s there?
  8. Magic has happened and now you’re in the last movie that you watched. What movie is it and how do you fare in this new universe?
  9. Alien abduction, werewolf bite, vampire attack. One is going to happen to you but lucky for you, you get to pick which one! Go for it and tell me which.
  10. Tell me what your perfect Sunday looks like.
  11. What plot of a book resembles your life or is most closest to your life?

For some reason I always feel guilty tagging people in this stuff and genuinely feel like I am bothering them.

  1. Gerry, I want you to understand that I adore your amazing and silly questions and that I’d love if you’d tag me in everything. That being said, I’m crying rn because you didn’t nominate me.

    😥

Other than you being totally mean and cruel, I love your answers!! ❤ I'm seriously rethinking that cloning theory you had because… I'm the boss at Cluedo. I have only one version, since I was 7 years old, I keep it safe and tucked and I have a mean streak. If I ever visit UK you're on! But I'd like to eat that food first.

I'm totally with you on de-stressing stuff, fave time of the year and huskies over babies! ❤ And everything else, you clone person! ❤

    1. Ah no! I feel bad tagging anyone in anything because I always think they’d be bothered and I feel like you’ll get tag fatigue from me! That being said, consider yourself auto-tagged if you ever want to answer my inane questions!!

Honestly, I’m on to something here with the cloning thing but I dare not say too much over the internet because you know they’d be watching. That’s hilarious though! I feel like I need to find an online Cluedo somehow! It’s the only thing I get weird about when it comes to board games. I’ve even told people off that I’m playing with for having too much fun when I’m trying to concentrate!!

      1. I know haha, me too, and I always tag the same people, but I like to be tagged, especially with your weird questions! 🙂 Give me all the tag fatigue. xD Hahah thanks, I’ll sure do this one. 😀

Hahahha shh, they’re watching everything! I don’t think there’s an online version, I’ve desperately tried to find it because I don’t have anyone to play with anymore, but there’s a video game version, and I think it supports LAN multiplayer, need to check. :/ Hahaha I know the feeling, I have strategies and some people have tried to distract me in the past..they lost anyway.

    1. Haha! I think I must have been high on sugar, caffeine or life. Or all three! I’m definitely not posting as much this week but then I think I have a million stuff planned for October. You’ll soon be fed up with me!

  2. Oooh, this is fun! Thanks for the tag ❤

Loved your wedding story! It was pretty well though out… or a magical coincidence? Shame they were not open at 8 :/

That Sunday roast looks amazing! I tried it in different pubs, but none of them looked half as good and most of them was actually quite sad with some soggy veggies and whatnots. 😦

    1. The wedding was definitely thought out! We realised we would be together 8 years on the 8th of the 8th month 2018 and decided it would be an awesome day to get married. The 8 people was just a strange and lucky coincidence though! Not even we’re *that* structured!

Ah no! A good roast is the best but a bad roast is just the most disappointing thing in the world. Country pubs is what you need!

  3. Awww I loved that last question (and your answers) as well ❤ Also, I'd LOVE to try a British Sunday roast. It sounds like a delicious comfort meal.

I also love that elixir question. I've never thought of the answer before and strangely I have a kind of funny answer. I'd probably give it to my German Shepard Apollo. He's 11 years old (kind of old for his breed in Texas) and still thinks he's a puppy, but his back legs are giving out on him. We're hoping he's with us through the holidays, but other than that we don't want him to suffer for very long.

He annoys the crap out of me but dogs are better people than humans and if he could life a happy healthy life for 100 years and stay in the family for generations, that would be so cool!! :,)

Thanks for the nomination! I definitely don't mind the nominations ❤ I've schedule it for next Saturday. I still have your TBR tag to do for this Saturday 😀

    1. Thank you! I love a roast, if you get a good one I imagine it’s what heaven tastes like!

Oh gosh, I’m sorry to hear about your doggy. I know what you mean, we had a Labrador growing up and she got sick and it’s the worst feeling. You want them to last forever but not if they are suffering. Give him all the love you’ve got.

I’m totally an ‘animal over people’ person! Someone referred to my cat as ‘it’ the other day in our house and I was like, ‘hell no, she is a girl and she is a *she* not an it!!’
