Book Edit: When Water Sang Fire

It’s the 2nd of the month so this means it’s book edit thingy time!

Now I really struggled to think of an edit for this month, I searched my brain and nothing… just… nothing. Until finally I realised that I didn’t have to do the edit on a complete book but could do one on a short story instead.

Hurrah! I love when my brain cell activates at the last possible moment.

This edit is based on ‘When Water Sang Fire’ from the collection ‘The Language of Thorns’ by Leigh Bardugo.

My review for The Language of Thorns can be found here where I give it 4 stars. My two favourite stories from the collection were The Witch of Duva and of course, When Water Sang Fire. In the end I decided to go with the latter for my edit because I have an obsession with anything mermaid related.

I’m not so proud of the edit because it was a bit more of a struggle to get the images and colouring but I enjoyed the story very much so here it is!

I’m not exactly good at these but if there are any edits that you would like to see than I will happily take requests (obviously it helps if I have read and can remember the book ;)) but I will always encourage suggestions!

    1. Thank you! I really appreciate you saying that you like this as I really struggled with it!

It’s not so horror but it is a dark villain origin and an alternate world retelling of Ursula from the The Little Mermaid. I really enjoyed it!
