What you have to understand is this…
I distract myself and others. Emphasis on distracting myself.
My first ever school report card says exactly that; ‘distracts self and others.’ It’s hilarious that after 25 or so years the same behavioural traits apply. I guess there’s no conditioning me out of that one.
What I am currently doing is distracting myself from doing tags that I’ve been tagged in by doing tags that I haven’t been tagged in because that’s exactly the nonsense that I like to do.
I stole this one from Sara @ The Bibliophagist so please check out her answers here. Someone wanted Sara to do this tag. Me? I’m just foisting this on you.
- Thank the nominator.

Here we go!
I am currently reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I am struggling. I am so sad that I am struggling with it because Tomi Adeyemi is a ball of delight presented to this planet in the shape of a person.
Give me bread or give me death.
Wow. That was dramatic and over the top.
Toast, I like toast.
Something that means I get them when they are very very very far away like a gun because I am in no way going to be in control of my mental faculties if they get that close to me. I have poor hand-eye coordination though so I’m pretty much zombie chow anyway.
Comedy. I am a wuss!
Neither? I can’t stand mud and who knows what lurks in the deep dark depth of any body of water. *shudders*
Skipping! That’s not a sweet that’s what I’m doing. This is #1 question skipped.
I’m a bundle of nerves so the library for sure, unless I know exactly where the party is held, who is going and whether someone will come with me!
I lurve a cheeky prosecco!
Probably to the Wild West. I’d like to experience that time and place but only for a day or two before I’m killed by outlaws or a snake or dysentery.
Obnoxious? Shy? Definitely bookish. I don’t think much has changed in all honesty!
Skipping! That makes #3.

6, 9, 12
Oooh this is hard. So I know this says who would you *want* to portray yourself etc. but I Googled actors/ actresses with some descriptors of my family to see who would come up and went with the first recognisable image. So for instance for my Dad I Googled, ‘Irish actor with moustache aged sixty’ and got…
For my Mum I Googled ‘brown haired British actress from London aged fifty’ and got…
Blimey! Liz Hurley!
For yours truly I Googled ‘short brown haired British actress in thirties’ and got…
Emily Blunt. I am more than happy with that!
Then for my brothers I Googled ‘young brown haired British actor’ and ‘young light brown haired British actor with tattoos’
I got Colin Morgan and Tom Hardy. Ha! Double ha!
None of us look anything like these people I need you to realise but I would definitely watch a movie with that lot in!
Do I have an endless electric and wi-fi supply? Can we take that as given? Excellent!
- My laptop
- Bottomless margharita – somehow
At the risk of sounding incredibly new-agey I don’t have a place as peace is something I have finally managed to bottle up and bring with me. Yeuch. Sorry. But it’s a refection on how I feel!
This universe Gerry is jealous of alternative universe best selling author Gerry.
Tell you what. These are the last three I downloaded…
In Your Eyes – Peter Gabriel (Deadpool 2’s fault)
And of course anyone else who wants to do it!
The questions are as above but I need to give three questions to replace the 3 I didn’t answer so here are a new 6, 9 and 12!
6. What is the last book that made you cry and why?
9. If you could choose one animal to shape-shift into what would it be?
12. You’ve been granted 24 hours to have a psychic ability of your choosing (consequence free), what ability would you have and what would you do with it?
